The Crown and Thistle is a charming, tradional old coaching inn which lies at the centre of the market town of Abingdon and was built around 1605. The name, Crown and Thistle signifies the union of England and Scotland by James I With its quaint cobbled courtyard, the listed building is in a lovely location, close to the Abbey grounds and the River Thames.
